QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

A little clarity.
Before we begin.

From booking a visit to arranging care from overseas,
here are a few useful things to know.

Which areas do you look after?

Redbacks is based in Murrami, in the Riverina region of New South Wales. Include your property’s suburb or locality in your enquiry so we can confirm availability and any travel arrangements.

How do I request a quote?

Email a short description of the problem, the property’s locality and the areas affected. Photos can help if you already have them. We’ll discuss what is needed and confirm the scope and price before any work is agreed.

Do I need to know which pest or weed it is?

No. Describe what you have noticed and where. A clear photo can be helpful, but you do not need to identify it yourself. The next step may include a closer look at the property.

Can you help with both pests and weeds?

Yes. Mention both in your enquiry so the indoor and outdoor areas can be considered together. The work recommended will depend on the issues, access and conditions at your property.

Can I arrange care while I’m overseas?

Yes. Start by email and let us know that you are overseas. We can discuss the work, approval and a suitable local access arrangement before a visit is booked.

Can you liaise with my tenant or property manager?

Let us know who is authorised to arrange access and what they can approve. Access and communication arrangements need to be agreed with you and the occupants before the work proceeds.

Can I pay from overseas?

Tell us where you are based when you enquire. Invoice currency and available payment options will be confirmed before work is booked, so you can decide whether the arrangement suits you.

What about children, pets and sensitive areas?

Mention children, pets, ponds, food-growing areas and any other concerns before a visit. Any preparation, access restrictions and return times depend on the work being proposed and will be discussed as part of the plan.

Do I have to be at the property?

That depends on the areas involved and how access can be arranged. If you cannot be there, tell us early so we can discuss a suitable arrangement with an authorised local contact.

How long will a treatment take?

Timing varies with the property, the issue and the agreed work. Include the approximate size of the affected area in your enquiry. We’ll discuss the expected visit and any preparation beforehand.

Will weeds need another visit?

Regrowth and new seedlings can mean a follow-up is useful. The right timing depends on the weeds and the site. We can discuss whether a one-off visit or ongoing attention is more suitable for your property.

What should I include in my first email?

Include the property’s locality, what you have noticed, the affected areas and any access constraints. If you are interstate or overseas, mention that too. You can use our enquiry builder to prepare an email.
